Arts and Culture Commission

The Arts & Culture Commission (formerly the Fine Art Commission) was created on June 8th, 2019. The mission of the Arts and Culture Commission is to promote and nurture the arts and cultural life of the City of Beverly Hills. It achieves its mission by:

  • Increasing the visibility and awareness of arts and culture in Beverly Hills
  • Expanding awareness of cultural facilities and spaces in Beverly Hills
  • Encouraging more arts and cultural activities in Beverly Hills

The Commission advises the City Council on matters pertaining to the enrichment of the community through fine arts, visual arts, performing arts, digital and media arts, arts education, and community cultural activities, education and events;

The City’s renowned Fine Art Program, is designed to acquire and/or accept Fine Art, to promote the City’s cultural image, reflecting a diversity of artists and works of art, to enhance the everyday experiences of its citizens, and to assure it is accessible to everyone. To learn more about the Fine Art Program, click here.  To learn more about how you can donate to Fine Art Program through the Community Charitable Foundation, visit our page here.

The Commission regularly meets on the second Tuesday of every month, from 10am to 12pm in Room 280-A, adjacent to City Council Chambers, 2nd floor of City Hall, 455 No. Rexford Drive, Beverly Hills, CA  90210.
