USGA US Golf Open Information

Press Release issued by USGA:

Liberty Corner, N.J. (May 31, 2023) – In preparation for the 2023 U.S. Open Championship, the United States Golf Association (USGA), in conjunction with the cities of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, unveiled a comprehensive parking and transportation plan to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic and pedestrians during the championship, scheduled for June 12-18 at The Los Angeles (Calif.) Country Club.

The transportation system will use designated parking lots in Century City and at UCLA to help ensure that fans experience stress-free travel to and from The Los Angeles Country Club, which is set to host its first U.S. Open Championship. The traffic management plan is also designed to minimize the impact of the event on local residents and commuters. Local traffic representatives from Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Department of Transportation, LA METRO and Beverly Hills Police Department have been involved in a 15-month planning process with the USGA that has resulted in the following:

General Parking Available for Purchase

Fans traveling to the Championship by car will need to purchase parking in advance of the championship. These parking lots are located in Century City and within walking distance of The Los Angeles Country Club. Limited parking passes remain available but are expected to sell out. Ride Share & Bicycles

Fans traveling to The Los Angeles Country Club are encouraged to take ride share services to Beverly Hills High School, accessible via S. Moreno Drive in Beverly Hills. Ride share services will be subject to following the commuter detour routing and traffic patterns enforced on the local roadways surrounding The Los Angeles Country Club. From Beverly Hills High School fans should be prepared for a .6 mile walk to the nearest championship admission gate.  All fans must enter the championship grounds from admission gates located off of Santa Monica Blvd.  THERE ARE NO ADMISSION GATES ACCESSIBLE BY FANS ALONG WILSHIRE BLVD.

There is no parking or staging for vehicles at the Ride Share location, so please coordinate pick-up times accordingly. Access to ride share is limited to vehicles no larger than a 12-passenger van or limousine. Due to area traffic restrictions, ride share vehicles will not be permitted to pick-up or drop-off at any other location around the championship grounds. Fans who wish to ride their bicycle to the Championship will be able to do so by following the bicycle signage plan and traffic pattern guidelines. Bike racks will be provided at Westfield Century City and Holmby Park to secure bikes. Owners will be responsible for the security of their bicycles.
