What does a Zone Coordinator do?
What does a Neighborhood Coordinator do?
What does a Block Captain do?
Help organize your neighborhood (along with Neighborhood Coordinator)
Assist with educational and social neighborhood meetings
Attend organizational meetings
Pass important information to Neighborhood Coordinator
Periodically monitor the membership of your group
Report to North and South Coordinator
Organize and manage Emergency meeting locations
During a disaster, organize your neighborhood
Communicate to both your Block Captains and Zone Coordinators
Know the needs of each block
Coordinate the status of supplies and resources in the area
Provide status updates to Zone Coordinator
Social Media post updates
Organize CERT Trainings for Block Captains and other residents in your neighborhood
Have list of emergency related qualifications of residents
Periodically monitor the membership of your group
During a disaster, organize your block
Meet with residents on your block and sign them up
Maintain contact info for all participating residents on your block
Have various pamphlets/handouts
Notify Neighborhood Coordinator if no longer able to perform Block Captain Duties
Pass along info received from your Neighborhood coordinator to your block residents
Periodically monitor the membership of your group
Contact new residents to get them involved and obtain their support
